Market days in Carnac

carnac walk

All year round, the streets of Carnac come alive on Wednesdays and Sundays for the traditional weekly markets. The stalls are set up in the Saint-Fiacre parking lot in Carnac-Ville. During the summer season, a third market is held every week in the Parc Vavasseur behind the tourist office, this time on the Carnac-Plage side. It’s a farmers’ and organic market, ideal for stocking up on local produce or bringing back gourmet souvenirs for your loved ones at the end of your vacation.

In July and August, the town of Carnac also comes alive with night markets. These take place every Thursday evening from 6pm, and are followed by a fest-noz until 11pm. Just a stone’s throw from the world-famous alignments of menhirs, a unique opportunity for the whole family to relax, discover local know-how and immerse themselves in Breton culture!
